The Missouri river is between Helena and Great Falls right on Hwy 15. There are airports in both and Helena and Great falls. Craig, Montana is the usual meeting rendezvous which is about 5 miles closer to Helena than great falls, however if you land in either get a car and drive instead of taking the 15 minute flight to save 5 miles of driving.
